Lost in the 3D and motion controller ocean that was this year's E3, is the trailer for Battlestar Galactica Online. Developed using the single most important gaming technology since the CD-ROM, the Unity Engine. Basically, Unity is a 3D game engine that is both lightweight and powerful, in which the finished game can be published to run in a web browser. Expect to see many well developed titles using this engine in the near future. BGO is being developed by Big Point Games, who have a ton of other web based games on their site. Check them out sometime, not half bad, and completely free.
