As you are probably aware, Grand Theft Auto V comes on two discs for the Xbox 360. A one time mandatory 8GB install is required and then you never have to switch discs again. The PS3 version comes on one disc but with the exact same mandatory install. Players might have thought to install both discs to optimum performance but according to Rockstar that isn't the case.
Rockstar said "For optimal performance, we recommend not installing that disc. We will have more info on our Support Site at launch." Short and sweet. It’s unclear what effect it would have but for now just install the first disc and you're good to go. The install takes roughly 15 minutes and then you get to experience one of the best games of this generation. Now go out and pre-order GTA V if you haven't done so already and expect our review soon.
