America got really excited it when it learned Ron Burgundy will be back for more despite director/producer Adam McKay suggesting Paramount had killed the idea a couple years back.
Now, a prime release date of December 20, 2013 has been announced for Anchorman: The Legend Continues. So in exactly a year, the Channel 4 News Team will assemble on the big screen yet again.
Stars Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, Steve Carell and David Koechner will all return to the sequel, as was announced (and with a teaser trailer) in March.
The confident release date is a good sign for fans — or maybe it just shows that Paramount has been pleased with fan reaction to the sequel announcement and thinks it can capitalize around the holidays.
