The CBS Upfront presentation was last Wednesday and the network revealed the first trailer for the much-anticipated upcoming series, Star Trek: Discovery.
This new show will only be available on CBS All Access, which is the network’s subscription streaming video on demand service. It costs $5.99 a month, or $9.99 for a commercial free option.
The trailer gives viewers their first look at Sonequa Martin-Green as the first office of The Discovery. She appears to be a human raised by Vulcans. The network also revealed that the first season will be made up of 15 episodes with an after-show called Talking Trek. This is about all the information CBS is willing to reveal at this stage in the game. The network is keeping the major plot and other details a secret for now.
The production of this show has suffered a series of delays, which means fans are excited to finally see a trailer for what this show has to offer. Star Trek: Discovery is now set to debut this fall. Check out the first trailer below. Will you be watching?
