Huge Sales for Xbox 360 on Black Friday
Sales of the Xbox 360 soared during the Black Friday sales period and massively exceeded Microsoft's expectations with final sales figures hitting 750,000 units.
Sales of three-month Xbox Live Gold subscriptions also increased by more than 50 percent from 2011's holiday sales. Halo 4 sales have also exceeded expectations from Microsoft with Halo 4 making a reported 220 million dollars in day-one sales.
This is great news for Microsoft, especially with the recent release of Nintendo's Wii U at the states and proves that people are still happy to buy consoles that are coming to the end of their generation.
Xbox 360 will also continue to offer people some awesome offers throughout the holiday season with a variety of special offers and pricing plans. A $50-off pricing promotion on select Xbox 360 consoles and three holiday bundles that include everything your family will need to experience all Xbox 360 has to offer are available now at participating retailers through Jan. 5.
