Capcom has recently announced that they are releasing a demo of DmC: Devil May Cry sometime before January, but now that demo is dated in time for the Thanksgiving holiday. Players will be able to try out Ninja Theory's reboot of the franchise on November 20th and 21st for both Xbox Live and Playstation Network respecitvely. The dates for now are not final since the PS3 version is out on Wednesday and the Playstation Store usually updates on Tuesdays, so I assume the demo also comes out on Tuesday of that week. While fans are excited to see how Ninja Theory's take on one of Capcom's popular franchise is shaping up, there are still a number of them that are still not happy with Dante's new look. Hopefully this demo, which will probably be a build that is seen at past conventions and events, will convince those that have been doubting the game ever since it was announced.
The demo is not the only thing the new, redesigned Dante will be doing on that day. He is also a playable character in Sony and Superbot's Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale, also being released on November 20th. DmC: Devil May Cry is slated to be released on January 15, 2013 for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. There's a PC version coming, but there is no official word yet from Capcom whether or not it is coming out on the same day as the console versions.
