Swamp Thing Confirmed for Injustice 2

NetherRealm Studios has officially announced the next new fighter for Injustice 2, Swamp Thing. Just as the Black Canary reveal before it, Swamp Thing’s reveal comes complete with a trailer showcasing some of his moves. From the short trailer, Swamp Thing appears to a fun character to use. It shows off some crazy moves such as vine grabs and heavy overheads. Swamp Thing even utilizes a clone (much like Noob Saibot) that he can use for grabs and continuing combos. From what little the trailer shows, our nature loving hero is already looking to be an interesting character to play as. Any character that shares similarities to Noob Saibot is OK with me. Another interesting thing is Swamp Thing’s reveal means the Injustice 2 leak list is still relevant. Both Black Canary and Swamp Thing were featured in the leak, and it’s two for two so far. Who knows if this is just some coincidence or a possible sign that the leak is true? But only time will tell. So far, Injustice 2 is shaping up to have a diverse cast of creative heroes and villains.
