Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters Return to American Horror Story
The theme of
American Horror Story seventh season might still be a secret, but it was announced by showrunner Ryan Murphy at the Television Critics Association (TCA) winter meetings in Los Angeles that fan favorites Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters will be returning for the upcoming season.
Murphy also stated that only three other people know what the theme is, so the character descriptions will also remain a mystery for now. Murphy’s only teaser was that it will be a “modern-day story,"
according to Variety. As usual, fan theories are running wild as to what the next season will contain.
In related news, FX announced that
American Horror Story has been renewed through season nine. Murphy will also be adding at least one show to his plate, with FX’s
Feud premiering later this year. That series will be based on the legendary rivalry between Bette Davis and Joan Crawford, and will star Jessica Lange as Crawford and Susan Sarandon as Davis.
For those wondering about season two of Murphy’s other hit show,
American Crime Story, it has been delayed until 2018.
