Activision and High Noon Studios announced today that a demo for Transformers: Fall of Cybertron will be coming out on July 31 on the Xbox Live Marketplace and Playstation Store. This demo will contain both single player and multiplayer for those eager to try it out before its August 21 release date. Two single player missions from the campaign will be playable along with some maps for the competitive multiplayer. In addition, players can mess around with the game's character customization for the game's multiplayer as well.
Transformers: War for Cybertron was a successful game for the franchise and arguably the best one since Atari's take on the Playstation 2. From what I seen of this sequel so far, it is looking to improve on the original's mistakes and beef up the multiplayer features since it was better than what most people thought. The storyline also seems to be bigger this time around with the battle continuing to rage on between the Autobots and Decepticons at Cybertron. Co-op for the campaign is also in the game, but won't be playable in the demo. There is going to a be a preview of the demo's content on the site the week it comes out as well. The latest trailer that shows off the multiplayer is below as Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is coming out on August 21 for Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
