Game of Thrones’ Richard Madden Headed to Amazon Pilot

Those Game of Thrones fans still mourning the loss of Robb Stark might be in luck: Richard Madden has been cast in an Amazon pilot. The pilot is called Strange New Things and is based on the novel The Book of Strange New Things by Michael Faber. The show follows, “a priest who is set from space to help found a new colony but what he ends up discovering not only puts his faith to the test but life as we know it,” according to the Hollywood Reporter. Madden will play one of the lead roles of Peter, a devout priest with a past. After his role as a Stark sibling on Game of Thrones Madden also starred in the mini-series Klondike and the live-action Cinderella film. He also starred  in Branagh Theatre’s stage production of Romeo and Juliet as Romeo opposite Lily James. The show will be executive produced and written by Matt Charman and produced by Andy Harries and Lila Rawlings ,with Kevin MacDonald set to direct.
