Microsoft has just released a trailer for the live-action Halo 4 webseries Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn. The series will launch on October 5, and will run until Halo 4’s release date on November 6.
The trailer teases that “the story of Halo 4 begins at dawn,” although it is not clear if the series will focus on the entire narrative of the game in live-action format, or if it will be an offshoot of the larger plot.
The trailer starts off introducing a character named Thomas, who apparently is more skilled than the rest of the other soldiers. An unknown enemy is teased, but not shown (Forerunner AIs, perhaps?). When all seems to go south, Master Chief shows up, ready to fight. The Halo franchise’s signature Warthog makes an appearance as well.
