Zelda: Twilight Princess HD Adding New, amiibo-Locked Dungeon?
"Plus some little upgrades!"
From the looks of things, you should preorder the
Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD bundle while you can, because that Wolf Link amiibo may be unlocking a bit of new content.
While it hasn’t been confirmed by Nintendo, Amazon France may have leaked that the Wolf Link amiibo unlocks a brand new dungeon called The Cave of Twilight. This dungeon contains something that the Wolf Link amiibo will have and upload to the next, unnamed Zelda hitting Wii U later this year.
Also, the retailer hints that the Link, Toon Link, Ganondorf, Zelda and Sheik amiibo figures restore hearts and arrows. Lastly, that the game will have a Hero Mode that doubles enemies’ damage much like other Zelda games, but it’ll be available from the start and can be changed at anytime. This last part sounds great, as
Twilight Princess was crazy easy to begin with.
What we do know though, is that the rupee limit was doubled to 2000 and the Tears of Light you had to collect as Wolf Link in certain portions of the game have been reduced from 15 to 11. This was confirmed within screenshots in the latest issue of Famitsu.
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD will release on March 4th.
