Italia Ricci Cast as Silver Banshee on Supergirl
This week DC Comics and CBS announced that one of Supergirl's biggest foes will be making her first appearance on
Supergirl in episode 14. Italia Ricci, who played April on the ABC Family show
Chasing Life, has been cast for the role.
Ricci's character will be Kara's work nemesis at Cat Co. and once she gains the power of the Silver Banshee she will also become Supergirl's nemesis. Italia Ricci is now joining her fiancé Robbie Amell (Ronnie Raymond/Firestorm on
The Flash) and future cousin-in-law Stephen Amell (Green Arrow/Oliver Queen on
Arrow) in playing big comic book roles. Ricci has already expressed her excitement for the role through social media.
