It worked for Fox's New Girl, so ABC is also hoping to capitalize on an early Internet success for its new comedy, Don't Trust The B---- in Apt 23. The network has released the show's pilot on Hulu ahead of its broadcast debut on April 11.
The series—formerly known simply as Apartment 23—stars James Van Der Beek as a somewhat altered version of himself, Krysten Ritter as Chloe (the "B" in the title) and Dreama Walker as June, Chloe's roommate new to New York City. The story centers on June, an "earnest, honest, optimistic girl from the heartland who, due to circumstances beyond her control, is forced to move in with a sexy, unstable New York City party girl with the morals of a pirate."
Don't Trust The B---- in Apt 23 premieres on Wednesday, April 11, 9:30 p.m. EST on ABC.
