CBS has announced the renewal of 15 of its primetime shows. The move brings the total list of returning evening programs to 18, including everything from comedy, to drama, to reality and even a news magazine.
In the comedy category, the network has renewed 2 Broke Girls and Mike & Molly. In a middle of multi-year deals, How I Met Your Mother and The Big Bang Theory were already aware of their good luck. The returning dramas include freshman Person of Interest, sophomores Hawaii Five-0 and Blue Bloods, the critically acclaimed The Good Wife and veteran procedurals NCIS, NCIS: LA, Criminal Minds, CSI and The Mentalist. Joining the already picked up Survivor, the other non-scripted renewals are The Amazing Race, Undercover Boss, 60 Minutes and 48 Hour Mystery. Note that Two and a Half Men is not on the list, its renewal being "in preliminary discussions" with Warner Bros. No word either on bubble shows (meaning shows with rating issues) like Unforgettable, A Gifted Man and CSI spinoffs CSI: Miami and CSI: NY.
