The premiere date of American Horror Story: Hotel is just around the corner and to get audiences ready, executive producer and co-creator Ryan Murphy has shared the show's brand new title sequence online. The opening credits for this horror anthology series are always creepy with eerie music and quick cuts to disturbing images. However, this fifth installment might be the scariest yet.
During the new set of credits there are quick looks inside various hotel rooms where blood, monsters and skeletons are prevalent. The credits for this season also have a new religious twist, with flashes of the Bible’s Ten Commandments written in the show’s signature font, including “thou shall not commit adultery” and “thou shalt have no other Gods before me."
There have been many trailers and images teasing the intensity of this season, but the past few installments of the show have had a hard time living up to the high expectations it sets, especially with the addition of Lady Gaga to this season’s cast of characters. Returning cast members include, Kathy Bates, Sarah Paulson, Matt Bomer, Angela Basset, Evan Peters, Lily Rabe, Chloe Sevigny, Denis O’Hare, and Cheyenne Jackson.
