Anjelica Huston Joins ‘Transparent’
Coming off of an award-winning first season (which added a few new trophies last night as the Emmy Awards, including a Best Actor in a Comedy statue for Jeffrey Tambor),
Transparent is expanding its cast for season two. This week, creator Jill Soloway announced that Anjelica Huston will be joining season two of
Transparent according to
Variety. Huston will appear in three episodes of the show’s sophomore season and could possibly even return for season three. Soloway teased that Huston’s character will be a friend of Maura’s (Jeffrey Tambor).
Soloway also added that Huston and Tambor have a palpable chemistry and that season two will be "wild" and "wacky." Season two of
Transparent will premiere on Amazon December 4. The teaser for upcoming episodes have shown a wedding, an ultrasound and more.
