Star Wars is finally coming to Disney Infinity. Rumored and long expected, it has been now officially confirmed. The new Disney Infinity 3.0 will have both Original Trilogy and Prequel Trilogy characters, from Darth Maul to Han Solo players will have a nice selection of characters to pick from. And of course like all previous Disney Infinity games, characters will have figures that you must buy to use them.
Later this year a playset will be released based on the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens. So hopefully we will get a cute little BB-8 to play with. Other Star Wars characters coming to Disney Infinity include Darth Vader, Leia and Obi-Wan.
Also Disney Infinity 3.0 will include characters based on the new Pixar movie Inside Out, more Marvel superheroes and some Tron characters as well. No official release date was given beyond this year. We will most likely get more info at this year's D23 Expo in August.
