Pendulo Studios Unveils Yesterday

Pendulo Studios have made some very popular adventure games over the years.  Among their hits are the Runaway games, and this year's The Next BIG Thing.  Now they're taking a turn towards the serious side of the adventure genre with Yesterday.  

Some new screenshots just came out today which show off the exotic locations and some of the characters.


Pendulo describes the story of Yesterday as "In New York City, beggars are disappearing one after another, only to be found burnt alive. Meanwhile, a Y-shaped scar forms in the palm of the hands of seemingly unrelated people. With the police and the media giving little attention to these events, Henry White, a young and rich heir dedicated to a charitable organization, and his friend Cooper, are the first to investigate these disappearances."



Henry and Cooper are joined by a third playable chracter named John Yesterday.


An formal release date hasn't been announced, but the game is confirmed for sometime in 2012.  You can see more screenshots and find out more about Yesterday on its new website.
