The next Halo game, Halo 5: Guardians, is coming out Oct. 27th. This was announced in a new live action trailer that was shown during The Walking Dead season finale.
No gameplay is shown in the trailer. The trailer shows the hashtag #HunttheTruth, which is a key phrase in the ongoing ARG. You can read more about that here via Kotaku. The trailer and the ARG seem to imply that the Master Chief has done something bad and has been labeled a traitor. Unless, maybe he is being framed or people don't know the whole truth. Maybe that is why people need to "Hunt the Truth."
We'll know more when Halo 5: Guardians comes out October 27th for Xbox One. Hopefully the game will work, unlike the Master Chief Collection.
