The CW Releases First Trailer for iZombie
This week was the Television Critic Association press tour, and during the conference The CW finally released the first trailer for their upcoming comic book television show
iZombie.
iZombie's first issue came out in 2010 and had a 28 issue run. The series was published from Vertigo, DC Comics' sister publisher.
The CW has adapted many successful DC Comics' properties, some examples being
Arrow,
The Flash, and
Smallville.
iZombie is a bit different from these shows because it's not a superhero show. It's a monster/mystery show and more in the vain of
Veronica Mars and
The Vampire Diaries. This doesn't come as a surprise because Rob Thomas, the creator of
Veronica Mars, is the show runner for
iZombie.
Here is the trailer The CW recently released during the TCA press tour:

I personally think this can be a very fun show. It's unique and Rob Thomas is the master of mystery. So I am not worried that this is going to be a boring show. I will be watching the pilot! The premiere date for
iZombie has been set for March 7th right after
The Flash. A perfect pairing! Are you excited for
iZombie? Did the trailer impress you? Let us know in the comments below!
