Charles Dance Cast in Syfy’s Childhood’s End
Game of Thrones actor, Charles Dance, who plays Tywin Lannister, has been cast in the Syfy miniseries
Childhood’s End, an adaptation of Arthur C. Clarke’s novel of the same name.
The six-hour miniseries tells the story of a seemingly peaceful alien invasion by a mysterious people called the Overlords. Though an indirect rule, the Overlords rid the world of all wars and organize a successful world government that prompts a utopian period – at the cost of human identity and culture.
Dance will play Karellen, an Overlord ambassador.
Childhood’s End will begin filming in Australia next month and is slated to premiere on 2015.
