Halo Fest on November 8-11 to Celebrate The Master Chief Collection’s Launch
Halo: The Master Chief Collection is out on November 11th and the folks at Xbox are hosting a launch event the night before at the Avalon Theatre in Los Angeles. This is not just your normal launch event over at Xbox as they will premiere the first episode of
Halo: Nightfall, which you can see the latest trailer below, and also debut gameplay footage for the
Halo 5: Guardians Beta that starts on December 29th for those that purchase the
Master Chief Collection.

Halo: Nightfall is about Agent Locke and how he will play a pivotal role in
Halo 5: Guardians since the story sets up the events of the highly anticipated sequel. There will be also interviews with the 343 Industries staff at HaloFest talking more about
Halo's past, present and future.
November 8th and 9th will be the
Halo: The Master Chief Collection Launch Invitational hosted by ESL on the official
Halo Twitch channel. This e-sports event beings in some of the biggest names in competitive
Halo playing
Halo 2 Anniversary with $50,000 on the line. They will be the first to play the
Halo 5: Guardians Beta as well, so expect lots of gameplay footage on how the future of Halo multiplayer is shaping up so far.

The Master Chief Collection's launch on November 11th. The game is also available for pre-load on the Xbox Store if you're planning to get it digitally and also a 20GB day one update.
