On
November 1st, Uncharted 3's US release date, Sony will be making available a
new PS3 bundle for the holiday period in America.
The bundle includes a regular edition copy of Uncharted 3, a 320GB PS3 console
and a year's worth of PlayStation Plus all for $300. One would assume
this bundle will be available worldwide but ,as of right now, it is only
confirmed for the US. A Final Fantasy XIII-2 PS3 bundle has also been
confirmed for Japan, which includes a copy of the game and a unique looking
black PS3 featuring Lightning (the game's protagonist) and the game's logo
emblazoned in pink to be released on the 15th of December for ¥37,960 which
is around $500 US.
I'm
all for crazy unique collector’s edition stuff but 500 dollars seems a
bit steep. As for the U3 bundle, I'd be tempted to pick it up myself if
it comes out here in Australia, assuming I finally do get around to replacing
my aging 40GB fat PS3, but I've already pre-ordered my copy of U3 so it would be
a bit of a waste.
