Resistance Back in 3D TV Package
People who want a cheap, decently sized 3D TV can now get a new copy of
Resistance 3 for free in the deal, but there's a catch. They have to pre-order the TV before the end of September.
Earlier this year at E3, Sony turned some heads by announcing a new, relatively affordable PlayStation-branded 3D television for gamers on a budget. The 24 inch TV was announced to include a feature that allows multiple players watching the same screen to see different images, and has one pair of 3D glasses and an HDMI cable in the box.
It was originally announced that the $500 dollar package would also include a blu ray of the upcoming alien shooter Resistance 3 (which is coming out next week), but that was eventually changed to
MotorStorm Apocalypse for whatever reason. Now though, you can get Resistance after all, as long as you order in time. The best part is that it doesn't affect MotorStorm's presence in the package, so if you preorder by the 30th of September, you're essentially getting two recent games and then a 3D TV for less than $400.
The television will be released in in November. It has 1080p resolution, two HDMI inputs, one component input. Also, I guess some people like that whole 3D thing.
