The FX series Archer will have a panel on Thursday, July 21 from 4 to 5PM PT in the Indigo room at the annual San Diego Comic-Con International. In attendance will be the voice actors for the show: H. Jon Benjamin, Aisha Tyler, Chris Parnell, Judy Greer, Amber Nash, and George Coe. Also, the creator and executive producer of the series Adam Reed will be fielding questions and discussing the series.
Archer wrapped up its second season in April, with a favorable critical response. The series has never brought in any audience to speak of, but fans love its rapid fire dialogue, razor-like wit, and multilayer subtle humor. The sardonic espionage exploits carried about by Benjamin and Tyler's characters lead to some great laughs, as do the other characters' bickering and conniving at the office.
With a
screening of a new episode planned – presumably from the third
season – and in addition to the cast and crew speaking, the Archer
panel should draw a nice crowd,
even if it doesn't have much connection to the comic world. Fans of
the series, as well as any who just happen to be attending the 2011
Comic-Con, should sit in for a look at one of the funnier series on
television today.
