The highly anticipated Battlefield 3 has already begun its quest to
become the best first-person shooter. According to GameStop insider HipHopGamer, Battlefield 3 has a higher number of pre-orders than that of Call of Duty: Modern
Warfare 3.
Both have gamers on the edges of their seats awaiting their arrivals. Each of
these games can also be arguably considered the best and most popular first-person
shooters to come out in a long time. Developers of both do not deny that the other is a good game, but sales and the gamers themselves will be what
really determines the best game. Battlefield
may simply have more pre-orders because of its earlier release date.
Battlefield 3 is set to release on October 25th, 2011, while Modern
Warfare 3 releases on November 8th, 2011. For now only speculations can made but one
thing is for sure: it will be a battle for the ages filled with endless debates. After both are released, the first week's sales and the fans will tell all!
Perhaps Modern Warfare will win a slight advantage with the new color vision
assist mode that will help those who suffer from color blindness (which is
said to account for about 6% of gamers). We will just have to wait and see in
the coming months.
