EA Sports Releases Teaser for Madden NFL 15
It is about that time when EA Sports gets the train rolling for announcements regarding this year's
Madden game, simply called
Madden NFL 15. The release date is already announced, which is August 26th for Xbox 360, Xbox One, Playstation 3, and Playstation 4 along with a quick teaser below featuring Luke Kuechly from the Carolina Panthers.
The 30 second teaser does showcase the game's potential graphics for a bit and with this being the first
Madden that will have lead next-gen versions, this is a big year for not only
Madden, but also sports games in general not having the post-launch rush (last year's
NBA 2K14 can be an exception). EA hasn't said anything what gameplay changes or improvements will be implemented into
Madden NFL 15, but they did say that a new "broadcast presentation" will be in this year's game with dramatic camera angles and better features for pre-game and halftime.
What is now tradition with the
Madden franchise continues again this year with voting for the cover athlete that starts on May 8th. The NFL Draft on ESPN will have more details that same day regarding who's in the running to vote. NFL legend Barry Sanders got the cover last year on current-gen versions while the Xbox One and Playstation 4 versions had the Vikings' Adrian Peterson.
Any early picks for this year's coverboy and potentially another victim of the infamous
Madden curse? My pick would be Seahawks QB Russell Wilson. What improvements would you like to see in
Madden NFL 15 from last year's game? Let us know in the comments below.
