During their press conference
at E3, the French publisher Ubisoft announced that Far Cry 3is currently in development. Led by Ubisoft Montréal, the third
game in the popular FPS franchise has the player controlling Jason Brody, “a man
alone at the edge of the world, stranded on a mysterious tropical island." There
will be some level of control over the outcome and the direction of the game as
Ubisoft tells us “players dictate how the story unfolds, from the battles they
choose to fight to the allies or enemies they make along the way.”
The third game in the
Far Cry franchise aims to build upon the foundations of the brand while also
adding new elements. At their E3 Press conference Ubisoft showed some gameplay footage
