With an insanity-causing
mug that only a mother could love Cthulhu returns in an updated version of Cthulhu
Saves The World. This version which is officially titled
Cthulhu Saves the World: Super Hyper Enhanced Championship Edition Alpha
Diamond DX Plus Alpha FES HD - Premium Enhanced Game of the Year Collector's
Edition (without Avatars!) boasts
several additions that will have players glued to their seats and wanting more
after every dungeon.
The update offers new
dungeons that provide a whole new level of challenge that even the best role
playing gamers will break a sweat on.
Some other updates include new characters waiting to be unlocked, great
new music, smoother gameplay, new abilities, and a “Cthulhu’s Angels” mode that
lets players control an all-female party.
This version can pose a
bigger challenge for gamers. I played Cthulhu on normal mode and still found
some of the encounters to be a bit challenging, however for those of you who
really like a challenge, there is a new Insanity difficulty mode that is sure
to drive you insane!
The new update allows you
to toggle the run button on and off at anytime from the moment you begin the
game. Many RPG’s do not give this option right away, but the folks from
developer Zeboyd games do, so you can satisfy your hunger for more Cthulhu in a
hurry and finish the game as fast as possible (not that you would want this
great role player to ever end).
Cthulhu Saves The World is one of the up and coming role-playing games in
the indie games Xbox live category.
It brings a unique and entertaining aspect to role players, whose
footsteps many others should definitely consider following in. With the new
music, several added characters, plenty of new abilities, and better controls
Cthulhu not only saves the world but saves role playing games from all of those
second rate RPGs that have been coming out. After playing Cthulhu Saves The
World I can confidently say that
this has to be one of the best F’tghan role-playing games that I have played in
a long time.
Cthulhu Saves The World is
currently available as an Xbox Indie game for 240 Microsoft point ($3). The Super Hyper Enhanced
Championship Edition Alpha Diamond DX Plus Alpha FES HD - Premium Enhanced Game
of the Year Collector's Edition (without Avatars!) will arrive on Steam in the near future, and owners
of the Xbox version will receive it as a free update.
