Marvel Announces New Ultimate Titles
For months it had been rumored that the Ultimate universe would be ending with Cataclysm. Marvel announced that this was only a rumor because the Ultimate universe will still be around with new titles coming out in April.
Three new titles were announced for the Ultimate Universe. These titles will be part of the All-New Marvel Now launch. Marvel is calling it the Ultimate Marvel Now. Ultimate Marvel Now will start in April with the end of Cataclysm.
Miles Morales will have his own series called
Miles Morales: Ultimate Spider-Man. The creative team behind this title is the same creative team that has been on the title before the relaunch: Brian Michael Bendis and David Marquez.
Miles will also have a new team series called
All-New Ultimates. The team consists of Miles Morales, Spider-Woman (now being called Black Widow), Bombshell, Kitty Pryde, Cloak, and Dagger. The title will be written by Michael Fiffe with art by Amilcar Pinna.
The third title is
Ultimate FF, written by Joshua Hale Fialkov with art by Tom Grummett and Mario Guevara. This team is called Future Foundation and consists of the world's geniuses. The team will be funded by Tony Stark and led by Sue Storm. Agent Coulsen, Falcon, and a new Machine Man will also be on the team. Fialkov said that an unannounced team member is a psychopath. My guess is that it will be Reed Richards.
