Turn off the Lights

Bioware Hiring for Dragon Age III

Dragon Age: Origins and it's 2011 sequel are both critically acclaimed and commercially successful games, so it has always been speculated that the Dragon Age series will be a trilogy. Therefore, it's not much of a surprise that Bioware is creating a third game in one of their most popular series, and revealing the staffing for it in the process.

The news got out via a tweet from the Bioware creative development director, Alistair McNally. McNally used Bioware's own social forums to announce that the studio is looking for some talented artists to create the world of Dragon Age III. The tweet from McNally reads as:

"I'm looking for exceptional environment artists to join me at #BioWare Edmonton, Canada to work on #DragonAge3 #gamejobs #jobs #3D #artists,"

The Dragon Age series is certainly successful enough to warrant a sequel. Dragon Age: Origins has shipped more then 3.2 million units globally since it's debut in October of 2009. Dragon Age II, the March 2011 sequel, has shipped more then 2 million units in the two months since it's release.
