Marvel release a slew of previews for it's title releases this week. Join us as we take a stroll through the previews and new releases this week.
First up we have Deadpool Corps #3. I'll be honest, I have no idea why this book exists or even why people are so in love with Deadpool right now. Every Deadpool book purchased put money in Rob Liefeld's bank account and that's one of comics deadly sins. For those who are interested in the book written by Victor Gischler and draw by Liefeld, the title ships this week. Dead Dog, or whatever that thing wearing the Deadpool mask is, must save the Dead family from Nukes, Aliens or whatever ridiculous scenario conjured up to see issues. Preview follows:
Marvel Editor turned writer Jim McCann and artist David Lopez launch a new series for Hawkeye and Mockingbird. Mockingbird was brought back to earth during the Secret Invasion and pretty much stripped away all of Clint's bad boy attitude making him a good little husband. I wonder if they'll address all the women he slept with while she was supposedly dead? At any rate the series looks a lot like Green Arrow and Black Canary from DC but hopefully a lot better. Preview follows:
Wolverine turns 900 in an "Atomic Size" issue. The book showcases several writers and artist and probably features David Finch's last interior work before heading to DC for an exclusive contract. Wolverine will be cutting up familiar foes such as: Ninjas, Morlocks and Pirates. Preview follows:
Ed Brubaker and Steve Epting the team responsible for killing Steve Rogers, concluded their over looked series The Marvel Project. The title features Marvel's World War II heroes and celebrates Marvel's 70 Year Anniversary. Preview follows:
Lastly is the Conclusion of the Siege! Marvel's event seven years in the making that ushers in the Heroic Age. Bendis and Coipel release a double size issue to wrap up Norman Osborn's invasion of Asgard! Preview follows:
In honor of Iron Man 2 this week, Marvel has released Pepper Potts' new armor that will premier in issue #29 of The Invincible Iron Man. Pepper's new "Rescue" armor is very similar to Tony's new armor that premiered in issue #25. Image follows:
