Valve created the comic book in-house and in an interview with Valve
artist Michael Avon Oeming he said that the storyline will bridge the
gap between Portal 1 and 2 and will also feature a
"much-rumored yet never seen character." The comic, while a
collaboration between several Valve team members, will be mostly written
by Ted Kosmatka and drawn by Valve artist Andrea Wicklund (she'salso
the owner of the hand that was used in the box cover for Valve Left 4 Dead series).
