Another week brings with it another PSN update. Although, there is surprisingly little to get excited about with only two PS3 store releases (DC Universe Online and Venetica) and just one new game on PSN (Faery: Tales of Avalon).
Of these, DC Universe Online will likely get the most attention, but as with most new MMO’s it can take a while to iron out some of the launch issues, and there have been some early reports that the PS3 version is having a couple of problems like very long load screens. So it might be worth waiting a few days to see how the game pans out.
Tough to pick a Game Of The Week this week, as there is so little to choose from, but DC Universe Online should be a strong title after some early fix’s.
DC Universe Online – An action MMO set in the worlds of DC Comics’ and housing some of its best superheroes and villains. The combat system is designed to be a fast-paced while utilising the powers of your charactors.
Venetica – A fantasy RPG originally released for the PC. You play as Scarlett, who has to explore and save a dark world from the necromancer and his henchmen.
Faery: Tales of Avalon ($14.99) – Work out why the magic world is dying, and save the kingdom from disappearance during battles and quests.
