Turn off the Lights

It’s “Tomorrow” for Josh Hartnett

Actor Josh Hartnett apparently wants to reunite with Paul McGuigan, the director of Lucky Number Slevin, for the sci-fi flick Tomorrow. Hartnett isn't officially signed on to star in the film, which focuses on a man trying to save his family despite being trapped in time travel.

It should be noted that Hartnett hasn't starred in a major studio film since 2007's 30 Days of Night. Plus, Hartnett was never really a critical darling, having not received any attention beyond a Phoenix Film Critics Society nomination for his work with the cast of Black Hawk Down. He also doesn't have the fresh star appeal that he did in the first half of the new millennium. If McGuigan hopes for his movie to be hit, there will need to be some killer marketing, or at the very least, some A-list stars in the cast.

Hartnett most recently starred in the thriller I Come with the Rain and will star in the upcoming indie dramas August and Stuck Between Stations. His next project is the live-action/animation flick Bunraku. McGuigan most recently directed the action flick Push which starred Chris Evans and Dakota Fanning.
