Another highly anticipated game will skip the holiday season as Ubisoft announced today that are once again delaying South Park: The Stick of Truth. The Obsidian RPG was originally going to be released in December, but now is scheduled for a March 4, 2014 release on the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC. This game has seen numerous delays from leaving the bankrupt THQ to now Ubisoft. South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone had something to say about the delay on the Ubisoft blog.
"We always wanted the game to feel like you're actually in an episode of South Park. Getting the game up to the crappy standards of the show has been a real challenge and we're excited to say it's taken way longer than we thought it would."
Ubisoft did however released a new gameplay video above to compensate for the delay announcement. South Park: Stick of Truth now joins the likes of Titanfall, Dark Souls 2, and likely more games as March 2014 is becoming more crowded. For many gaming publishers, March is the new November due to fiscal years ending for most of them. South Park fans bummed that the wait is even more longer for The Stick of Truth?
