TellTale Games has finally released the teaser trailer for the highly anticipated second season of The Walking Dead and yes, it was literally a teaser. The sequel to Entertainment Fuse's 2012 Game of the Year will have it's first episode be released before the end of the year and continuing on to 2014 on the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, PC, and iOS devices. The lack of next-gen versions is a bummer for now, but we'll see if TellTale decides to have them available for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One sooner rather than later with save transfers from current-gen consoles. Like with the first season, the five episodes can be bought separately, but there's the option for the season pass for a discounted price as well.
To no surprise, season two will be all about Clementine months after the events of the first season as she will be the playable main character. She is now on her own trying to survive the Walker apocalypse along with making the tough choices we're used to doing back in season one last year. Saves that have key decisions made from the first season and 400 Days will carry over to season two. Playing as Clementine will definitely be interesting to experience as who knows what TellTale has in store for us.
If you missed the first season and/or 400 Days, a Game of the Year edition of The Walking Dead will be out next month for the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. As the one who reviewed all the episodes last season, I have lots of expectations especially with a playable Clementine, but we will see if TellTale can continue their roll that they had last year and The Wolf Among Us.
The Walking Dead Season 2 starts sometime before the end of the year. Are players excited to experience how things are going to pan out for Clementine this season? Let us know in the comments below.
