Actor Martin Freeman, who previously stared in Sherlock Holmes, has been cast in FX’s new series Fargo. Freeman is set to play the lead Lester Nygaard, a henpecked insurance salesman living in Minnesota. Fargo is an adaption of the 1996 movie with the same name.
Billy Bob Thornton will also play a lead character on the series. His character, Lorne Malvo, is a mysterious stranger who stirs up some trouble. The series will be 10 episodes and is set to begin airing some time in 2014.
