Ubisoft Announces Two New Assassin’s Creed Games

Ubisoft has announced two 'new' Assassin's Creed games. One being a console and PC port of Assassin's Creed Liberation in HD. According to Ubisoft, "The game will take full advantage of its new hardware and feature a complete graphical overhaul, remastered music and sound effects, a revamped gameplay experience, and new missions that dive deeper into protagonist Aveline’s story."

The other game will be an IOS game by the name of, Assassin's Creed Pirates, much in the vein of Sid Meier's Pirates it seems too. "Explore the Caribbean during the Golden Age of piracy as Alonzo Batilia, a young and ambitious captain. Manage your crew, upgrade your ship and engage in huge naval battles to become the most feared pirate of your time." Ubisoft Paris, the devs, are apparently in development of a new mobile engine to bring its own brand of 3D visuals to smartphones and tablets. Featuring the Caribbean Sea as an open world (Not as large as Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag's world), it will also have day-night patterns as well as real time weather.

This seems like a the best time to pick up Liberation if you don't have a Vita.
