Arrow has gained another cast member as it heads into its second season. The hit CW action-drama show is based on a DC comic book series of the same name. Arrow has its season premiere set for Wednesday October 9. Tune in at 8 pm and every Wednesday following that for another intense season of the beloved show that fans embraced last year. Arrow tells the story of Oliver Queen, a man who goes missing and is presumed dead after his yacht is lost at sea. He returns years later, determined to change his city. He operates as a hooded vigilante, carrying a bow and arrow as his weapon of choice.
The new casting addition is Cynthia Addai-Robinson, and she has been cast in the role of Amanda Waller. Waller is employed by A.R.G.U.S., a mysterious agency with a secret agenda. They also have key information about the Arrow and look to pose a serious threat to the main character, Oliver Queen. Her character is scheduled to appear beginning the sixth episode of the season. Previously, Addai-Robinson has appeared in a number of televsion shows and had recurring roles in Flashforward and Spartacus, as well as one film role in Colombiana, released in 2011 and starring Zoe Saldana.
