With E3 just hours away, there will be plenty of big game announcements and trailers that everyone will be talking about very soon. To get you excited, Activision and Infinity Ward have released two new gameplay videos of the next installment in the insanely popular Call of Duty series. After first being shown at the Xbox One reveal event, we now get a taste of what the gameplay will be like when the game hits shelves this November. Let's check out the first video which includes underwater combat.
We saw this teased recently and now we get to see just how the underwater levels will play out. It looks very cool, but not something we haven't seen before in the series. Maybe these underwater sequences will be less scripted than previously, but either way it looks like a lot of fun. The next video shows what seems to be the biggest new feature they are pushing in the form of using dogs as allies.
This is actually a pretty cool concept. Sure it looks kind of silly to begin with, but it definitely adds a new element to gameplay that wasn't there before. If we really establish a connection with the dog it will definitely add tension as you will want to protect them at all costs. It is not the game-changer that many people want from the series, but that isn't going to happen anytime soon realistically.
Be sure that we will see more of this game very soon as it is guaranteed to be featured during Microsoft's E3 presentation tomorrow. Call of Duty: Ghosts is coming to both current and next generation consoles on November 5, later this year.
