WB Games and 5th Cell today announced the next installment of the Scribblenauts series, Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure for Wii U, Nintendo 3DS and PC.
As the title hints, it is a crossover of 5th Cell’s million-seller IP with the ever-popular DC universe. The game premise is that Maxwell and his sister Lily must team up with Batman, Superman, The Flash, and more to combat the various DC villains. The catch to Unmasked is that Maxwell can spawn over 2000 different DC-related including 33 different Batmans and 130 different Green Lanterns.
The object creator from Scribblenauts Unlimited returns in the Wii U and PC versions but with a twist: they allow you to create your own superheroes and villains. Also like in Unlimited, you can share and download others’ creations online.
Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure will release this fall in North America, South America and Australia. There is no word for Europe, where they still don’t have Scribblenauts Unlimited.
