After the huge success of the first season of Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead there are bound to be legions of fans who are chomping at the bit ready to play more. Unfortunately games this great take time, sometimes a lot of time so the wait could be quite a while. However to stem the blow we could see something new before Season 2 to tide us over.
Gary Whitta who contributes to the writing of the game has teased to fans that something is coming soon. He said “You won’t have to wait for season two to play more Walking Dead”. That is very good news for fans of the series such as myself. Whilst keeping it mostly under wraps he went onto say “We may have a little something extra for you between season one and two.”
So what does this mean exactly? My guess would be some sort of DLC that looks to bridge the gap between the two seasons. Perhaps the game is set a few years later and we get to see a glimpse of the middle years before starting Season 2 and playing as a potentially grown up Clementine.
The Walking Dead won numerous game of the year awards last year including Entertainment Fuse’ own award. Whatever is coming next for the franchise, I know I’ll be playing it the second Telltale are ready to release it.
