Activision have announced that the first Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 expansion pack, Revolution, will be coming to both the Playstation 3 and PC on February 28th.
Within the DLC there are four new multiplayer maps: Hydro, Grind, Downhill, and Mirage as well as a new zombie level named Die Rise and a bonus weapon named the Peacekeeper SMG.
A new multiplayer game mode is also included in the pack called Turned, which allows players to actually be zombies. The aim: kill the lone, fleshy solider.
When this happens players will take the previous gamers place as the living and vice versa. Whoever gets the most points by fending off the undead and ultimately
staying alive, wins.
Owners of the game on both the aforementioned formats will be able to purchase the DLC alone for the price of $14.99 (£9.99), once it becomes available.
Alternatively, players can buy the Black Ops 2 season pass for $49.99 (£34.99), which entitles the owner to rest of the expansions packs (another three are scheduled for release) plus Revolution.
Does this new expansion pack get you excited for those that have been waiting because 360 owners have been playing it since last month? Will you be purchasing it come the 28th? Let us know below.
