According to Japan’s weekly gaming magazine Famitsu, it looks like the Wii U exclusive director’s cut of Ninja Gaiden 3, subtitled Razor’s Edge, will be hitting the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on April 4th at Japan. It also turns out that that game will be also be released at the US on April 2nd.
Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge contained many upgrades to the original game, including a harder difficulty, upgrades, more modes and the ability to play the game as free downloadable characters such as Momiji and Kasumi. I reviewed the game on Wii U and while it is great for hardcore Ninja Gaiden veterans who like a hefty challenge, it has awkward progression and a lack of fixes to the original’s production.
The 360/PS3 rerelease of a rerelease is also coming digitally day & date with the retail versions. Are Ninja Gaiden fans excited that the upgraded version that Wii U owners got is also finally coming to the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3? Let us know in the comments below.
