To mark the 30th anniversary of Wrestlemania in 2014, WWE 2K14 will feature a brand new mode highlighting all your favorite moments from the past. ‘30 Years of Wrestlemania’ is a single player campaign that will features many classic matchups from the past including Hulk Hogan vs Andre the Giant from WM3 and even The Rock vs John Cena at WM28.
You will be tasked with objectives such as recreating the original match’s outcome and will feature tons of bonus unlockables such as archive photography and new arenas. Due to including over 30 years of history to cover, the game will feature a massive roster of superstars to play as. “Era-Specific” filters will also be in place so old matches won’t look like they are taking place in present day, hopefully.
2K Marketing Director Chris Snyder added, “For nearly three decades, WWE has inspired millions worldwide through the historic, cultural and undeniable phenomenon that is Wrestlemania.” Hopefully this new mode does not disappoint when the game launches later this October for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
