The Order of Dagonet Free on comiXology
Action Lab comics has announced it’s first free comic book on comiXology, home of several of their other comics, including Princeless and Double Jumpers. However, the first issue of The Order of Dragonet will not have a price tag like those issues.
The Order of Dagonet #1 was written by Jeremy Whitley (writer of Princeless) and drawn by Jason Strutz. Not only is this the perfect place to start the series (what’s better than #1 for a starting point?) but The Order of Dagonet is also a double-size 44-page long issue.
The Order of Dagonet is a fantasy series about mythological creatures reappearing in modern England. The only people who can stop these creatures are the Knight of England but unfortunately knighting has changed. We don’t get a Lancelot to stop these creatures but a rag-tag team of knights that include a burnt out rock star, a Shakespearean actor turned B-movie regular, and an author of popular children's books. This is England’s last defense against the force of Faerie.
Looks like it will be worth the money if the writer and score of 4/5 on comiXology are any indication and I look forward to reading and reviewing it myself!
